2 years ago I embarked on a journey to help young creators leverage creativity as a remedy to the often-chaotic life we face daily in Haiti. A week ago during our interview process, one of the creators shared this heart-wrenching truth about the role of creativity in her life:

Creativity is my life. Unable to leave my house because of the gang violence in Martissant, creativity keeps me from falling into depression and hopelessness.

The power to create, change us from hopeless victims to empowered creators and this is the goal of Street Labs.
